Glenn C. Hazard
Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board

A seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience in the technology industry, Glenn brings to Xceedium a strong record having served as CEO at both venture-funded and publicly-held companies. At Xceedium, Glenn is responsible for driving global strategy, and growing Xceedium by capitalizing on its unique product offerings and its strong blue-chip commercial and federal government customer base.

Prior to Xceedium, Glenn was a managing partner of Zero-G Inc., a venture management company that invested in and managed early stage technology companies. Prior to Zero-G, he served as chairman and CEO of NETSEC, a leading Managed Services Provider which was acquired by MCI/Verizon. Before NETSEC, Glenn was chairman and CEO of FTP Software, Inc., a public company, who was the leading provider of Internet networking technology and connectivity software. Earlier in his career, he was senior vice president and chief information officer at Legent Corporation, a leading provider of systems management software products and solutions. In addition, he spent 17 years with AT&T Corporation serving in a variety of executive-level roles in sales, marketing and general management. Glenn currently serves on the board of several emerging companies.


Mordecai (Mo) Rosen
Executive Vice President, Business Development

Mo joined Xceedium from Zero-G Inc., a venture management company, where he was a founder and senior partner. Prior to Zero-G, Mo was senior vice president of corporate development at NETSEC, a leading Managed Services Provider which was acquired by MCI/Verizon. Before joining NETSEC, Mo was the senior vice president of marketing and business development of FTP Software where he was responsible for all marketing, strategic relationships, and acquisitions. In addition, Mo has held executive-level positions in product marketing, management and business development at MCI, Computer Associates, and Legent Corporation. Mo began his career serving in a variety of product and technology leadership roles at Lachman Technology, one of the original providers of Internet communications software for the UNIX platform.


Dave Olander
Senior Vice President, Engineering

A veteran technologist, Dave oversees the evolution of the Xceedium GateKeeper, whereby his team has delivered key functional and quality improvements. Dave joined Xceedium from netForensics where he was vice president of engineering. At netForensics Dave led strategic development of their Security Information Management product family. Prior to netForensices, Dave was at Raritan, where he instituted new engineering processes to accelerate delivery of Raritan's 2nd generation digital KVM switch.  Dave has over 25 years senior leadership experience and product engineering management with HP, AT&T Bell Laboratories, BEA, Novell, UNIX System Laboratories and Improv Technologies.  His product experiences span UNIX operating systems, middleware platforms, out-of-band access solutions and security software.
 
Dave holds an MS in Computer, Information and Control Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a BS in Computer Science from Clarkson University.


Jay Zimmet
Executive Vice President, Global Sales

As executive vice president of global sales, Jay leverages more than 20 years of demonstrated success in network security to drive Xceedium’s sales. Jay joins Xceedium after serving as vice president, North American Sales for Verizon Business’ Security Products and Services group. During his tenure at Verizon Business he increased Managed Security Service and Professional Security Service revenue by 200% and generated an exponential increase in revenue and margin generated per sale. Prior to Verizon Business, Jay was vice president of worldwide sales at NetSec Inc., a provider of managed security services which was acquired by Verizon Business. While at NetSec, Jay spearheaded a global sales team that closed more than one hundred (100) blue chip customer accounts.                                                                                                     

Before NetSec, Jay headed up worldwide sales for Sanctum Inc., a provider of web application security tools. At Sanctum he played an instrumental role in establishing the company’s domestic and international presence, developing and implementing business plans, and staffing models for all direct and channel sales.  

Jay holds a BS in Business Administration and Finance from California State University at Northridge.


Aimee Rhodes
Vice President, Marketing

Aimee joined Xceedium from AlgoSec, where as vice president of marketing she led the firewall management company’s communications and lead generation strategy and implementation. Prior to AlgoSec, Aimee was vice president of corporate communications at remote access SSL VPN vendor Whale Communications, acquired by Microsoft. While at Whale, she was responsible for developing and executing the company's brand strategy and establishing leadership within the emerging remote access product category. Before Whale, Aimee was vice president of media and editorial content at GenerationA, where she was responsible for launching an Internet-based news and information portal. Prior to GenerationA, Aimee spent more than 10 years in journalism, serving as a foreign correspondent at the Reuters News Agency, leading Israel Radio's English News Service and working as an on air news presenter for Jerusalem Online, a globally broadcast current affairs program.

Aimee holds a MA in Journalism from Michigan State University and a BA in Political Science from Michigan State University.


Craig Mezik
Vice President, Finance

As vice president, finance at Xceedium, Craig uses his 24 years of experience to manage all aspects of the strategic and tactical financial and administrative functions of the company . Prior to joining Xceedium, Craig was the CFO at Ridge Manufacturing Corporation, a contract manufacturer, where he managed the day to day finances and successfully refinanced the company. Previously, he was the controller and CFO, at Wavexpress, Inc., where he concentrated on expense reductions that saved the company millions of dollars. His previous experience included the vice president & controller for Prism Communications, Inc., a start-up CLEC and the first DSL provider in New York City. Craig was successful at building all of the company's financial operations and processes from scratch, and was integral in growing the company's revenues to $5 million in two years.

Craig began his career at AT&T Corporation where he spent 13 years in various roles. His last position was Assistant Controller, AT&T International, where he was responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for the $2 billion division.

He earned a BS degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama, a MBA in Accounting and Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and an Advanced Certificate in International Business from Seton Hall University. Craig is a CPA in 1991 and member of the AICPA.
